Hope everyone is doing fine out there. I need to see you all on the forum. It's been a long two weeks for me and i want to hear from you about yours. 116 hours on the clock in two weeks and i am beat down. That's hard on a brother like me. Outside of that, i want to thank Cory from Halo of Flies Records, who is also a stand up character in Protestant, for being such a kind soul and sending me a package of great tunes this week. I am thankful to him because they helped me make it through. Check him out and buy stuff from him. You will not regret it. He is housing some damn fine music on his label and a few are featured on this show. Heavy work weeks call for crust in the tunes. Hope you all enjoy it. I have been jammin' these bands all week without fail. Slam a cup of coffee, run out the door, crank up the car and turn up the tunes. That about covers my two weeks. Hope you all enjoy the show. It's 6pm on saturday and i had to kind of slap this one together. Essentially, i just took all the discs laying in my passenger seat and used them for this show. I think you get the idea. Take care, bear with me, see you on the forum. Until next week...

It all started with the records and comics. In small space, i rearrange my living space. If i want to move left i have to move left to the right. Left generally holds the booty of years gone by. Now my treasures spill onto the floor and left can finally move right as chosen. As i sit in this four cornered room, it overcomes my senses. Dust swirls and smoke sails across the open window seal. As luck would have it, now my sleeping has been disrupted. I must stop this commotion to drain a bed of water and locate a new place of rest. Load, unload, tear down, drain, dust, sweep, set up, take out the garbage, and of course, find new and forgotten treasures. For the first time in 20 years i slept on a standard matters in my home. After all of this weeks trials I need to relax. I will listen to music to keep my sanity and hope you will do the same. These audio hills we will climb together and my mountain of home my lovely wife and i will climb alone. Peace be with you all. Bobby

Thought this would be a fun way to kick of the vinyl series. All of these tracks are cover songs that i found in my record collection. Unfortunate that some of these albums were poorly taken care of before they came into my possession but they all sound good and transfered well to digital format for this show. Hope you enjoy this effort. We sometimes get caught up in technology and forget things that have gotten us this far. Vinyl was, is and has been for a long time, a major part of the music industry. For one, i am glad it is still to be found. To me, there is nothing like the dedicated listen. See the forum at www.tarblackvomit.com under the thread turntable and vinyl for further explanation. It's free to sign up if you have something to add to it.
Until next week,
Bobby

It was kind of difficult to balance the track volumes on this weeks show to a stable medium.
Due to using so many recordings from different periods and loctions, the levels were modified to a degree without compromising the music to provide a better balance.
Although, you may find some of the volumes are louder or lower you shouldn't have to run for the volume button ever other song.
Enjoy!
Bobby
